This week, we’re proud to promote Mitchell Cloud, a practitioner in Olathe, Kansas thriving as an LCPC, a school counselor, and a credentialed supervisor. He began his career more than ten years ago at an inpatient treatment center for kids with severe psychiatric and behavioral disorders. Today, he treats children aged 5 to adolescents who suffer from ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, autism, and social and emotional stress. Mitchell favors an attachment-based technique known as Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and completed a post-Master’s program in Play Therapy, which he often implements with patients and students.

Through supervision, Mitchell specializes in helping aspiring counselors work toward their LPC license, especially those interested in working in schools and with the youth. He offers supervision in-person or remotely, after school, in the evening, or on weekends. His teaching sessions deal with real-life scenarios and include the use of videos and role-play.
