Ethics is an area that mental health professionals need to be aware of daily. There are many
instances where knowledge of ethical standards can save a therapist from making poor choices. This course will help supervisees and residents define ethical responsibilities, understand their responsibility in situations that may create an ethical dilemma, develop critical thinking skills, and determine an ethical framework in their own practice.

About the Trainer:

Lisa Duez, LCSW, MPA, CSAC, ACS, has been a clinical supervisor for over 10 years. She is the owner of Turning Point Counseling and Consulting, a trauma informed group practice in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Lisa is an EMDRIA certified clinician and approved consultant, and an Assistant Professor at Tidewater Community College.
