In 2020, she published her memoir, REAL Radical Empathic Acceptance of Life, where she shares her experience around trauma, loss, and healing. Khadijah and her company offer mental health and substance use disorder consultation with the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, state agencies, colleges and universities. Khadijah is the founder of the REAL Healing Center, and she provides tele-therapy, clinical supervision and serves as a behavioral health consultant around trauma and resilience. Khadijah is currently featured in the Adverse Childhood Events Campaign with Richmond Behavioral Health. She believes in the power of storytelling as the foundation of healing.
